NexTier Capacity Group was founded on a simple but powerful belief: leadership capacity determines organizational success. After more than three decades of leading in complex, high-pressure environments, Dr. Latisha Turner recognized a consistent pattern across industries—leaders are often promoted based on performance, but rarely developed with the coaching skills, mindset, and self-awareness required to lead effectively at the next level.

Throughout her 30-year military career, Dr. Turner led diverse teams, advised senior leaders, and operated in environments where clarity, accountability, and trust were non-negotiable. Those experiences reinforced a truth that extends far beyond the military: confident leaders build capable organizations. Dr. Turner holds two doctorate degrees. She holds a doctorate in Organizational Development and Leadership as well as Educational Leadership. She is also an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. Additionally, she is a certified Myers-Briggs and DISC practitioner.

NexTier Capacity Group was created to help leaders and organizations expand their capacity intentionally and sustainably. By integrating executive coaching, assessments, and practical development strategies, we support individuals and institutions in strengthening decision-making, communication, resilience, and performance.

Our work is rooted in real-world leadership experience and grounded in the understanding that development is not a one-time event—it is a continuous process of growth, reflection, and action. At NexTier Capacity Group, we partner with corporate, government, nonprofit, and educational clients who are ready to operate at their next tier—where confidence meets clarity, and leadership drives lasting impact.
